Meet the Regional Ombudsman Volunteer Team

A group of five people stands in front of a sign for the "Agency on Aging" in a welcoming office environment.

Our Long-Term Care Ombudsman volunteers play a vital role in protecting the rights, dignity, and well‑being of older adults living in long-term care and residential care facilities across Nevada, Placer, Sacramento, Sierra, Sutter, Yolo, and Yuba counties. Working alongside program staff, these trained volunteers help investigate and resolve concerns raised by—or on behalf of—residents in nursing homes, assisted living communities, and residential care facilities for the elderly.

The success of this program is made possible by the compassion, dedication, and integrity of our volunteer Ombudsman representatives. We are grateful for their commitment to advocating for some of the most vulnerable members of our community. Thank you to Leo Camacho, Pamela Nelson, Robyn Payne, Darla Neeley, and Ann Zonderman for the meaningful difference you make every day.
