We oversee CalFresh Expansion program that helps qualified seniors with low-income apply for monthly food benefits so they can buy food at any grocery store or farmers market that accepts EBT monthly food benefits. We assist consumers in Nevada, Placer, Sacramento, Sierra, Sutter, Yolo, and Yuba counties.

Both directly and with partner organizations, we administer local Meals on Wheels services. We provide home-delivered meals to support homebound aging adults who may be unable to prepare their own meals. While the diversity of each program's services and operations may vary based on the needs and resources of their communities, we are all committed to supporting our aging neighbors to live healthier and more nourished lives in their own homes. We also fund partners who oversee home-delivered meals outside of the Meals on Wheels national network.

In partnership with local organizations, we fund and oversee programs that provide a hot, nutritious meal at a local senior center or other public gathering places to mitigate food security among low-income older adults and also provide an opportunity for social interaction.

Through our partners, we fund programs that provide alternative forms of meal service such as restaurant vouchers or mobile meals delivered via food truck.
