Agency on Aging Area 4, either directly or through contract with local service providers, oversees social, nutrition, and long-term services and supports to older individuals across Nevada, Placer, Sacramento, Sierra, Sutter, Yolo, and Yuba counties. These programs are funded in part through the federal Older Americans Act and the Older Californians Act.
Our role as Area 4’s Agency on Aging includes bringing programs and services to the community by working with local partner organizations already serving specific communities and/or populations.
We work together to enrich communities and improve the well-being and independence of older adults across the seven-county region we serve by helping consumers:

Website Accessibility Policy
Agency on Aging Area 4 is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Agency on Aging Area 4
has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and
commercial screen reading software. All features of the website are coded to allow individuals with vision and
other impairments to understand and use the website to the same degree as someone without disabilities. We welcome
feedback and can often resolve issues in a timely manner if they arise.
