Agency on Aging Area 4 is a proud member of StopFalls Sacramento, a coalition of agencies that gather with the mission to support healthy aging in place through regional strategies that reduce fall risk and injury among older adults. 

The coalition was founded in May 2022 in partnership with Sacramento County Department of Public Health through a grant award from Administration for Community Living (ACL). This 3-year grant helped launch the efforts of the StopFalls Sacramento Coalition and the implementation of evidence-based fall prevention classes. 

Coalition Meetings

Stop Falls Sacramento Coalition meetings are held on the first Wednesday of every other month, beginning in January, from 2:00 - 3:30 pm. StopFalls Sacramento meetings are open to the public and include a guest presentation on a fall prevention topic, coalition activity planning, and round table networking.  For more information, call (916) 875-6049.
