Agency on Aging Area 4 Secures $450K Grant to Strengthen Regional Health Data Connectivity

March 25, 2024 [Sacramento, CA] — The Agency on Aging Area 4 (AAA4) is pleased to announce the acquisition of a significant $450,000 grant under the California Data Exchange Framework (DxF) program, an initiative of California’s Health & Human Services Agency Center for Data Insights and Innovation (CalHHS CDII), to help health and social services providers and other health care entities understand and implement DxF requirements. The framework is the first-ever, statewide data sharing agreement that will accelerate and expand the exchange of health information among health care entities and government.

Agency on Aging Area 4 to Fund Local Agencies as Part of State Plan to Improve Livability for Older Adults 

January 25, 2024 [Sacramento, CA] — Agency on Aging Area 4 is honored to be one of six (6) grantees awarded a total of $1.1 million in funding from The California Department of Aging (CDA) during round 2 of the Local Aging & Disability Action Planning (LADAP) Grant Program. This planning and capacity-building grant will be used to support agency efforts in planning for and addressing the needs of older adults, people with disabilities, and professional and family caregivers of today and tomorrow in Yuba and Sutter counties.
